WOD – Monday 20th August 2012

Since we opened we have been long waiting for the first big Reebok CrossFit Cardiff romance to begin. Although you may think Davs and I started the box because of our love of CrossFit, to create an awesome community and to change lives through constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity, you are wrong. We are secretly just big Blind Date fans and want you guys to hook up.

It is with that in mind that I am so happy I could literally smash a Pinata with my face. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the happy couple. If that doesn’t bring up your lunch maybe this will. I don’t even know who is in this one.

Reebok CrossFit Cardiff WOD:

“SWACQ” (Event 1 from the Summer Crush Games 2012)

For time:

24 Deadlifts (70kg/42.5kg)
18 Hang Cleans (70kg/42.5kg)
12 Shoulder to Overhead (70kg/42.5kg)

25 Box Jumps (30”/24”) – You must show control on the top of the box, making sure there is full extension of the hip and knee.
25 Calorie Row*
25 Box Jumps (30”/24”)

12 Shoulder to Overhead (70kg/42.5kg)
18 Hang Cleans (70kg/42.5kg)
24 Deadlifts (70kg/42.5kg)

*The 25 Calorie Row might be subbed for a 400m run dependent on class size.
