WoD - Tuesday 31st October, 2017

If anyone finds Conroy's spine at the gym could you either hand it in at reception or leave it in the lost and found box please? 

The box was absolutely pumping for the re-run of 17.1; PBs flying about everywhere! I hope it continues throughout the week, I'll just adjust the movements for all the workouts so that you don't need to tie your shoelaces.

Accessory Program

Squat: Session

Goblet squat with plate (ideally 5kg or less weight than you used in the third week) - 2 sets x 5 reps (10s down, 1s pause at the bottom and a fast ascent)

Single leg touchdown progressions - 4 sets x 5 reps on 4x20kg plates stacked

2.1. After sets 1 and 2 perform a banded ankle stretch with a kettlebell - 1min on each leg (2mins total per leg)

2.2. After sets 3 and 4 perform a calf stretch on a plate - 1min on each leg (2mins total per leg)

Monday - 30th October, 2017

Here's to another kick ass Monday and the beginning of a new week of fitness. 

Tomorrow we are giving you the chance to try to improve on a previously tested workout. Now, behind the scenes, the entire team has been verbally abusing Suller for programming it, and I encourage you to do the same. 

The only time that I have ever done this workout was the night it was released, at 3am after I had judge Kristin Holte; fuelled with at least 7 espressos and 3 slices of pizza. But luckily, not beer like one or two others. About 13 days later I able to stand up properly again. 
Can't wait! Thanks Suller! 

The good news about this year though however, "Kelly" wasn't programmed two days ago.

10 dumbbell snatches
15 burpee box jump-overs
20 dumbbell snatches
15 burpee box jump-overs
30 dumbbell snatches
15 burpee box jump-overs
40 dumbbell snatches
15 burpee box jump-overs
50 dumbbell snatches
15 burpee box jump-overs
Men use a 50lb Dumbbell and 24 Inch Box
Women use a 35lb Dumbbell and a 20 Inch Box
