And, in order for you to enjoy it fully, we have some restricted hours on Monday only. They are posted below, setting you up perfectly for an afternoon in the sunshine (hopefully!)

Not that she will be reading this, but it is my mother’s 70th birthday today! And, as proof that I have NOT forgotten AND have wished her a very Happy Birthday!
I will of course be calling (I am super busy tomorrow) her and hopefully going to say hello on Thursday morning.

She is a dude, put up with me terrorising her for the first 16 years of my life, and was therefore more than willing to sign on the dotted line, consenting for me to join her majesty’s Royal Marines at a ridiculous age! Never one to hold anyone back, just guide gently from a distance. Hero!

Getting eye drops into a 5 month old puppy who, REALLY doesn’t want you to put them in there, is hard work.

Hours leading up to the 3 times daily does are spent attempting to conjure up variously sneaky methods of how to outwit the clever little bastard! Any suggestions would be greatly received.

As cruel as it might sound, the very best way is to simply weight until he is asleep and deposit said drops into a open - mid rapid eye movement - dream.

I of course understand that this post is utter bollocks and none of you really care about anything but the workout… or maybe the new Game of Thrones series.

Well they said the heat wave would begin mid April and last 3 months, and I am poised ready to go. Let’s hope that weather man Mr Fish is not full of as much sh*t as he was when he reassured the British public that there was definitely NOT going to be a hurricane on the south coast of the UK; all those years ago!

Anyway, if I have to ride my bike across town with 5kg of frozen dog meat in a rucksack again in the meantime I may well go down with hypothermia!

How can 8mins possibly hurt so much?! Well if you do the first round unbroken in 45 seconds, you are halfway towards your answer.
There is a lot to be said about suicide pace, it’s certainly the most enjoyable for the trainer. There is nothing more satisfying than watching an athlete pull the pin and take off in the first 30s, safe in the knowledge that you can sit back, eat some popcorn and watch the show.

I am firmly hoping that I see the very same thing tomorrow please…

If there was one super power available on this planet, I would love it to be that of being able to read minds…not just the human mind, in fact that would be boring in comparison to being able to read the mind of a 5 month old, German Shorthaired Pointers’.
For example, can you imagine what he must be thinking about when attacking a blanket so vigorously that he ends up wearing it; looking only slightly differently to that of someone wearing a condom (obviously the shape hopefully providing the main difference).
Or when throwing himself around his bed, like a puppy possessed, when there is clearly nothing but him in it. Barking at his own shadow or the noise that he has just made mid thrash.
Maybe finally when wandering around the house, climbing up on every available piece of furniture - for 3 and a half hours - seemingly dipping his paw into the hot water of just what kind of behaviour is acceptable; can I chew this…NO. Should I take this toy and bury it in the…NO. Maybe I could pee right….NNNOOOOO!!!!

Fadi my friend, you are the centre of every party, a kind and selfless man, and you deserve good things in your life. If you ever need anything in a time of need well you know just where to come.

Your wonderfully chiseled butt cheeks are mine now!! Maybe not, but, for at least the next five days I will be kicking them hard with “fun” workouts. Designed entirely to continue your journeys towards ninja levels of fitness!
Overall fitness can only be dictated by your capability in short duration, maximal power output. Strength or sprints for example. Because, as time increases, power output can only decrease.

We want to make you as strong as we possibly can without effective your ability to go long. We want to make you weightlifting gymnasts, with the lungs of pornstars. 😉 And really…who doesn’t want that?

Now then luckily for you lot, we understand that, and we also understand that those who are really strong, lift weights, and nothing else…

You’d have thought that you lot would have learnt by now, the old saying, you know…don’t judge a book by it’s cover!
Luckily for me though, nothing fills me with quite as much joy as watching legends like The G-Man walk into the 6:30am class (well at 6:38, “quietly”) laid back and smoking a cigar as he has read the workout the night before and clearly is about to “crush” it!

The only problem is that when you attempt to do double unders after a 20 Calorie assault bike sprint, you can’t! And, you get this stupid look on your face when realisation sets in…you’ve done it again haven’t you. You have allowed yourself to be lulled into a false sense of security and as round one draws to a close, you understand…this time you truly have f**ked it up! But, it won’t be long before you do it again!
